Good story but accent was distracting
As an Aussie I did struggle with the kiwi accent of the Australian in this story.

Love it!! Tee is first class!!
Another amazing book from TL Swan!! I love Emma Wilder - she is so very talented, but felt her Aussie accent was too subtle. First time listening to Dane Anderson… and wow… he was phenomenal with all the accents and language.
The story itself was great. There were a number of events I felt I knew how they would play out, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong and that the story wasn’t predictable! Thanks for the plot twists Tee (and the short cameo of Gabe).
Thank you to all involved for bringing this book to life!! I can’t wait for another TL Swan book!

Loved it
Such a beautiful story, Almost finished all the books here by this author.... what will I do then??? Narration was wonderful, very sensual.

Cringy
This book had me in knots 😩 I love the story and the plot. The FMC narrator was so cringy. And the way she tried so hard to make herself sounded genuinely like an Australian. It was so awkward I had to stop. And then there’s Olivia, this girl was getting on my last nerve. She knew what she was getting herself into. She knew that Enrico was a mafia boss yet she kept asking silly questions that made wanting to tear my hair out. I was so over her drama queen bs. One minute she’s accepting the life she’s living, the next she’s throwing a fit for Enrico’s over protective attitude. I mean what did she think the mafia boss does? Sitting at home paint his nails? And why did she keep asking why he had so many guards? Ffs get with the program already or get the hell out.
The spice level though…. Top notch 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🥵 🥵

I loved the story was a duet!
I really struggled hearing a Kiwi trying to be Australian. Olivia’s character was a bit painful at times and a bit whinny. I understand the author wanted the character to be rebellious and true to herself but it became a bit predictable knowing she was going to going to defy him. Sometimes I felt she just needed to shut her mouth. The character of Ricci however, was a standout and played beautifully. The spice was OMG grrrr perfect. I would definitely read another book from this author.

The best
I must admit I was reluctant to even buy this book, thinking it would just be another billionaire romance story, but omg it was so much mooooree!!! This quite quickly turned into a new favorite book for me, the narrators were amazing, even the dodgy Australian accent was easy to get over (I’m Aussie) but I 10/10 recommend this book, was just awesome!! I didn’t want it too end

Twists and turns that I did not foreshadow! A beautifully written story, read with poise and character. Highly recommend you listening or reading this! T L Swan has done it again!

Loved this narration and the narrators did a great job - not easy doing an Australian accent without making it stand out as all “stryney” in amongst all the other accents.
Great story and great evolution of the characters within - and thank you for not making it predictable.
Once again a brilliant book by TL Swan - never stop doing what you do so well!
