About this listen
Ahren can hardly believe his luck. His apprenticeship finally comes to an end, and Khara's interest in him is growing by the minute. He and his companions leave the Southern Jungles and sail westward, this time in search of two Paladins, who are apparently living a peaceful existence on one of the Isles of the Cutlass Sea.
Yet their quest proves full of difficulties, for a war among the pirates has transformed the Cutlass Sea into a bubbling cauldron, hiding its own tragic drama. While Ahren and his friends do their utmost to win over the two Paladins in their attempts to defeat HIM, WHO FORCES, the High Fang, SVEN, is nearing the consummation of his fiendish plan.

Bunch of annoying missed edits
though it does provide some insight into the reading process - eg correction of emphasis

Continued excellence
Narrator is incredibly good, story line unexpected in areas which keeps the story going and I’m enjoying seeing the characters develop and mature through the story

unfortunate audio issues
Absolutely fantastic continuation of the series. In the last few hours though, there was some less than par audio editing. A lot of sentences hear being re-read as an example.

great story, awful editing
I'm loving all these stories, and up until this book the narration had been amazing, but someone forgot to check this one! The editing is dreadful, from chapter 12 there are overlaps, repeated words and errors that unfortunately spoil the story. Hopefully it will be fixed and a new edition published

Book5 A book too far but not the last.
Like most sets of books it's hard to keep the story fresh. The human characters are still getting beaten up by everyone, but win in the end.
The thought that the world's survival depends on them is somewhat hopeless.
No book 6 as yet, which is probably just as well. Maybe book 6 will explain why the knights that are hundreds of years old and total misfits defer to a 17 year old hormonal boy. God (in this story Gods)knows how they managed so well without him.
I hope it's not going to be book after book of monumental c*** up's and five minutes of the group of drunken misfits winning.

Fantastic series
I'm really enjoying this series. I can't wait until I get the next book. It can be a little bit slow in places however other than that I can't say anything negative about it.

Most rewarding book yet
So much happens here as Kara and Aaron relationship continues on it’s great to see them go from tolerance annoyance friends and now lovers this alone is enough for me as I’m a sucker for a go to Romance.
The action as always it’s really good
Kind of annoying but definitely won’t stop me from enjoying the book one of the plot twist was standing in front of you the whole time and wasn’t Hidden very well as and it stood in front of you you saw it but the characters did not was very frustrating, when they finally saw it kind of went finally but he worked out

Audio was a bit off for later parts
Great book, but the audio recording seems to have skips and not edited properly (says the same thing twice in different tones at points - guessing they forgot to remove a previous take)
