Fabulous narration.

Wonderful caricature of British upper class bureaucrats. Depressing story line centred on the blind attraction to the Soviet communism. Very Cold War literature.

Book good, narration outstanding

A good book but not Greene’s strongest. Tim Pigott-Smith is brilliant as usual and gives the story more appeal than it might have had. So, worth listening to.

A hidden gem, hiding. One of Greene‘a best. Extremely well written and narrated. As good as The Quiet American.
