Good, but confusing at the end

Interesting story, though had to re-listen to the last half hour to properly understand the characters and what had happened. A little confusing at the end. Perhaps that was just me though. Otherwise, enjoyed the story and will listen to others by the same author.

Not what I was Expecting...

I'm a little confused about the twist. I liked the ending but the story was not what I was expecting, I much prefer her other book the daughter in law. it was ok.

twist was worth it

I spent most of this book wondering what the point was and where it was possibly going. it was ok but just seemed to be a bit of a nothing narration of the characters day to day life. then the twist happened. and its been a LONG time since a twist has completely blindsided me with no warning. made it ALL worth it!!

A bit confusing

The ending left quite a few loose ends in relation to some of the main characters. I was a bit confused.

Compelling, down to the last second!

This story is cleverly constructed to keep you guessing until the very end. Thoughtful, perplexing, sad and joyous, all at once. Brilliant!

Boring and depressing

I couldn’t wait for it to finish, it was so depressing I found myself crying whilst listening to it, I wanted to hear the end so I stuck with it but wished I hadn’t!

Definitely do not recommend.

If i knew this was a repetitive story of disfunction and circular head-fuk i would have passed. Narration good.
