Tom Hope is broken. Ever since his wife, Laura, died he hasn't been the same man and definitely not the same father. Luckily for Tom his mother-in-law, Linda, is around to pick up the pieces and look after his two struggling daughters, Evie and Lola. Not sure

I do enjoy a good Mike Gayle book . And this was enjoyable. But for the whole first half of the book the main character was weak and very unlikeable. That said, I liked that it wasn't quite a predictable happy ever after at the end. well not entirely!

another Mike masyerpiece

emotional ride as one would expect from the auther.love,,hate and back to love, didn't get much more enjoyable.allthougj would have still liked if Tom ended up with his girl
