Amazing.

Bennett has drawn together so many concepts from various Trek sources into one beautifully constructed story. (The Medusans from TOS. New Humans from the novelisation of TMP. The Aenar from ENT.)

Our familiar crew are evolved in this story, yet maintain their personalities and felt as real to me as they ever have.
