Tessa Afshar brings history to life using her imagination about the early life of King Cyrus of Persia.
Although this is a novel with a license to embellish what is known of the King and his early life she has made it quite plausible weaving some very alluring characters into the plot.
Thoroughly well constructed with much historical knowledge researched about those times in ancient history even down to small details customs and food,, archery and sword fighting.
I very much like the narrator, so Clear and precise in her delivery . I very much feel like I have just finished watching a very good movie.
It was a most enjoyable novel .

The faith and wisdom of the writer
Tessa has a wonderful way of being able to draw me into her story and keeping my attention.I so much enjoyed listening to the Hidden Prince. This story will keep you entranced all the way through with wonderful narration I know you will enjoy this book as much as I did

I loved reading this book.
Great to read a fiction book enabling me to hide in a great read when life is stressful. And gain insights from that time & culture.

A story that transports you to far away places!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! I was transported to far away places and felt fully emersed in the narrative.
I love books that paint a rich picture of places and cultures from Bible times, and this book definitely does that. A very pleasurable read/ listen!
