About this listen
The wrestling legend Bob "Hardcore" Holly tells all in this autobiography that chronicles his journey from fighting in bars for money to the bright lights of the World Wrestling Federation. Holly reveals how he took more body slams and clotheslines outside the ring than in and that long before he was known as "Hardcore Holly", he had an unquenchable passion for professional wrestling.
Ultimately, Holly would hold the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hardcore Championship seven times, the WWE Tag Team Championship three times, and the National Wrestling Alliance World Tag Team Championship once. But in the midst of his career achievements was a roller coaster of success and frustration, and Holly reveals the plethora of missed opportunities and broken promises that marked his road to television stardom. Replete with fast motorcycles, faster cars, wrestling bears, betrayal, and lost love, Holly shares his uncompromised view of his past and the current state of professional wrestling.

can not recommend this book highly enough!!!
after reading and listening to a lot of wrestling books this is hands down my favourite, it's easy to tell WWE had nothing to do with publishing this book as Bob pulls no punches and tells it like it is while still giving credit where credit is due, he has no problem in putting over the in ring abilities of other wrestlers, even the ones who have wronged him. this book allows an excellent and detailed peak behind the curtain into the biggest wrestling company to ever exist told by a man who has seemingly seen it all, Bob comes across as extremely genuine and honest, no subject is off limits not even his thoughts on Chris Benoit. can't recommend this book enough, it is a must read for anyone who was a fan of the attitude and ruthless aggression eras.

Hardcore as it should be.
Anyone who likes wrestling in general, especially the attitude and ruthless aggression eras should get this book.
Bob is a man’s man and tells it like it is.
I always liked his hardcore character but now I have a lot of respect for him as a real person.
The performance is good, I binged this book over 2 days.

How don’t you like him now..!
Another review said this was one of the best wrestling biographies they’ve heard. I tend to agree. Great to hear from someone relatable and not often on the inside like the Kliq or big factions. Great stories, inside info, and history within this book. Would suggest it to anyone who loved the WWF/WWE.
