An interesting start
The narrator was ok but had to listen to her at speed 1.5. She stops & starts with her reading, which doesn't give a good flow.
I liked the concept of the book but had few issues. The main character Alexandra (Alex) turns 21 & not one person wished her a happy birthday... not even her friend she ended up having to stay with... that seemed a bit weird, specially when turning 21 is a big deal in America, small things like this just seem overlooked. There were a few small markers like this completely glossed over that if had been included would have made it a more engaging story for me.
Alex has only ever slept wth men but the moment she turns 21 & starts to inherit her mothers succubus powers she suddenly is sleeping with women ???... I had no problem with the F/F scenes but it just didn't seem believable for the character to have had no interest prior & then all of sudden has an interest. I would have believed this aspect more if Alex had always slept with both men & women prior to her birthday.
I will continue with the next book as am interested to see whats next in Alex's journey.
