About this listen

The first word that came into my mind was THE HALF BASEMENT even before I began to write a book. Half basement is a synonym of poverty. The rich do not live in the half basement, but the poor.

Half basement is damp due to moisture coming from the ground. The outside view through the window is not a peaceful greenery but the feet and legs of walking people on the ground. When windows are open to ventilate the air of the half basement, people can easily see the inside of the half basement. Yet, the worst will be that one may be trapped inside with no exit at the time of fire or flood. It is not a desirable place to live when one has enough money.

But the Lord led me to a half basement. My life began to sprout, grow, and bloom with flowers in the half basement. My half basement was a place full of love, life, and blessings.
