these are definitely young adult like 15yo
book 1 was really basic easy listening for a 10 yo. books 2 and 4 where 1000times better. Really enjoyed books 2 and 3, though I won't be purchasing the rest of the series, even though it finished on a cliffhanger

A typical 18 year old, but the tantrums got on my nerves
I stopped listening because the main female characters were working on my nerves. They do act like typical 18 year olds though. (I have an 18 year old daughter, so I can compare 😉) I read a lot of YA, because it usually has more story than spice. I acknowledge that I'm not really the target public of this author, hence why I gave it 4 stars even though I stopped listening. Just a warning for other 40 year olds that likes to read YA ... 😜
