unexpectedly amazing
I didn't know what to expect from this story, but it was both funny and endearing and I started rooting for the little snake. Looking forward to the next book in this series and it's always a pleasure when a narrator does a great job like Peter did.

Starts slow but ends big!
It took me a bit to get into the audio book but the character development from a simple little snake to the much more accomplished little guardian is great fun. The time loop is much less world breaking than most and the logic of it all leaves real risk and interest to the magic of the world. A great read!

Wholesome. Funny. Fierce!
I chuckled and grinned and smiled a lot listening to this book.
Our protagonist is so earnest! So fiercely devoted to its core!
The narration was perfection. He gave it the respect and energy it deserved.
