Publisher's Summary

If you love Bridgerton, you'll love Georgette Heyer!
The charming Sophia Stanton-Lacy is a force to be reckoned with.
When Sophy is sent to stay with her London relatives, she finds her cousins in quite the tangle.
Cecilia is besotted with an attractive but feather-brained poet, Hubert has fallen foul of a money-lender and the ruthlessly handsome Charles is engaged to a pedantic bluestocking who seems to bring out the worst in him....
Fortunately, Sophy has arrived just in time to sort them all out - but Charles is eager to rid his family of her meddlesome ways. Has the grand Sophy finally met her match?
Critic Reviews
"A rollicking good read that will be of particular joy to Bridgerton viewers...the permanent glister of scandal [...] ties the whole thing together." (Independent)
"One of my perennial comfort authors. Heyer's books are as incisively witty and quietly subversive as any of Jane Austen's." (Joanne Harris)
"Absolutely delicious tales of Regency heroes. Utter, immersive escapism." (Sophie Kinsella)

A Heyer classic!
Nicely delivered with credible voices for the various characters. One of Georgette Heyer's most loved novels.

A grand escapade
The Grand Sophy is a whirlwind which invades the Rivenhall mansion in Berkeley Square and disrupts their ordered existence completely. An amusing story which is beautifully enlivened by Louise Jameson’s performance. I enjoyed this reading thoroughly.

Grand Story
My favourite Georgette Heyer novel. Great characters, plenty of humour and an excellent heroine. Couldn’t fault the narration by Louise Jameson.

A grand read
Always an amusing read is a Georgette Heyer novel. Often the Audible reader struggles with male and female readers but this time I think the reader was too old for the younger parts. Sophie sounded middle aged.

Very enjoyable
Love the story & the narrator, not at the first thought, but Louise’s performance convinced me and at the end I really enjoyed her narration

Couldn't get into it
I have never read Georgette Heyer before and I thought I'd give it a go considering I like Jane Austen so much. I just couldn't get into it. I didn't like the main character - she seemed a bad cliche. Each to their own, but I'll be leaving this author on the shelf from now on.
