About this listen
Written to help listeners better understand Jesus's life, death, and ultimate mission, this new book by well-known preacher John MacArthur looks at an important - yet often misunderstood - section of the Bible: Isaiah 53. Often hailed as one of the greatest chapters in the Bible, this passage foretells the crucifixion of Jesus, a critical event in God's ultimate plan for salvation.
Explaining the prophetic words of Isaiah 53 verse by verse, MacArthur highlights important connections to the history of Israel and to the New Testament - ultimately showing us how these prophetic words to ancient Israel illuminate essential truths for our lives today.

Amazing
Yet another time brother John beautifully expounds the word of God very thoroughly, very deeply and yet put in a very simple and easy to digest manner. Brother MacArthur pens down so beautifully an exposition of the most loved portion of scripture by Christian believers and the most neglected by the beloved Jewish people. It’s a must read/listen to by every Christian and every Jewish person!

Thought provoking and inspirational
This is a wonderful book. John MacArthur shows the importance of Isaiah. After listening to the book I want to go back and listen to it again. There is much to learn from Isaiah and it’s application to today.
