Evenfall - Part 1 - The golden Linnet. written and read by Alexander Armstrong. Hugely enjoyable
I was around nine when I found The Hobbit in my local library. I’m now 70. I still enjoy fantasy in its various forms : from Tolkein to Pratchett
I thoroughly enjoyed Evenfall (audiobook) well read by the author (a task not always successfully achieved by some).
It’s an excellent start for Alexander Armstrong.
It is exciting, having a good plot with believable characters and the pace is good, (you have to make the usual allowances needed for the genre).
I’m honestly looking forward to listening to the next tale in the series.
Although it’s classed as a children’s book any adult with a love of fantasy should enjoy this.
Highly recommended.
