About this listen
When Chariots of the Gods was published 50 years ago, it began a worldwide change in humanity's view of the cosmos. In an era of the military space race, Erich von Daniken boldly proclaimed that Earth had been visited by more advanced beings early in our history. But prescientific man had no concept of spaceships, so he called their vehicles "chariots", and those driving the chariots became "gods".
Over the next five decades, von Daniken's 32 books built an ever-stronger case for Earth being visited by extraterrestrial visitors. And Chariots became an international best seller, with 30 million copies sold in more than two dozen languages. Also during that time, the case for ET visitations millennia ago was being reexamined by contemporary UFO researchers, who found evidence of modern visitations. And von Daniken expanded his perspective to encompass the present.
Now he presents his long-awaited sequel to Chariots of the Gods, proclaiming that the gods never left us, with all-new material to show that ancient aliens are still with us.
The Gods Never Left Us contends that recent advancements in biotechnology, astrophysics, engineering, and artificial intelligence not only give us a fresh perspective on his ancient astronaut theory but actually validates it. We are - as a race - embarking on the exact same trajectory of our own interplanetary colonization, just as von Daniken suggested Earth itself was colonized.
ETs are definitely at work today. And that affects all of us.

Interesting
Is a great and interesting book. Reasonable logical reasoning, except the random and unnecessary rant on gender and the strange attempt to connect left wing views of freedoms to be gender neutral, as somehow being a bad conspiracy? lol

Awesome read! Religion perverted?
Fascinating and thought provoking! Must read. I loved this book! Can we really say what our true history is?

Compelling evidence that our DNA is not a product of chance but by intelligent design
Multiple, diverse and irrefutable evidence we are not an accident of evolution and we are not alone.

good book, but it's total bullsh*t.
I hope None of you believe the nonsense presented in this book, but it's not my case to argue with ancient astronaut theorists and instead my place to day that I'm almost certain Every Single Major Point presented in the original Chariots Of The Gods has been refuted. Since this book relies for its validity claims of ancient aliens which never existed, it's safe to say that the book is totally useless as real science. Daniken is not a bad writer, and I daresay many of his pseudoscientific books would be enjoyable to read, but you shouldn't even attempt to treat them as real science.

Not Bad for Fiction
It helped me sleep. The ball of light story was interesting. But mostly garbage about how all Gods are aliens and people could never cope with that, blah, blah. unsubstantiated. Draws wild conclusions from no real evidence. Interesting, but bend reality to fit his own beliefs, the 👽 religion.
