When Edward comes to, he's more than a little confused. The blow to his head knocked out three months of his memory, but surely he would recall getting married. He knows who Cecilia Harcourt is - even if he does not recall her face - and with everyone calling her his wife, he decides it must be true, even though he'd always assumed he'd marry his neighbor back in England.
Cecilia risks her entire future by giving herself - completely - to the man she loves. But when the truth comes out, Edward may have a few surprises of his own for the new Mrs. Rokesby.

Great story
It's a great story, exactly what you expect from the author. The narration was a little eh... but that's the difference between reading a story and listening to one. Not everyone reads lines in the same way.

A very different story plot
A delightful and satisfying read. Very different and I wasn’t sure I would like it. I loved it. Both main characters had depth and evolved with the story. Loved the ending.

Absolutely magnificent
Loved it, loved it, love it. had me laughing and crying. Would recommend to anyone. has me on the edge of my seat. can't wait for the next one, which I'm going to purchase RIGHT this second. Narrator marvellous as usual.

honestly my favourite so far
honestly, I love how Julia quinn can tie in so many different timelines, it's truly great, narrated perfectly and just an excellent timeline and I think by far the most raunchy of the series.

I couldn't stop listening.
That was an adventure! Loved this story.
Again make sure you read the books in this series in order. Rosalyn Landor is a queen at narrating!

This started my love affair with the Bridgetons!
Excellent book; most enjoyable! I had forgotten how much I enjoy Julia Quinn's writing but this book got me back into her and this one got me hooked into this series!
