About this listen

Identical twins only look the same....

Beautiful twin sisters Iris and Summer are startlingly alike, but beyond what the eye can see lies a darkness that sets them apart. Cynical and insecure, Iris has long been envious of open-hearted Summer's seemingly never-ending good fortune, including her perfect husband, Adam.

Called to Thailand to help sail the family yacht to the Seychelles, Iris nurtures her own secret hopes for what might happen on the journey. But when she unexpectedly finds herself alone in the middle of the Indian Ocean, everything changes. Now is her chance to take what she's always wanted - the idyllic life she's always coveted. But just how far will she go to get the life she's dreamed about? And how will she make sure no one discovers the truth?

Written with the chilling suspense of The Girl on the Train and Before I Go to Sleep, The Girl in the Mirror is an addictive thriller about greed, lust, secrets and deadly lies.

Twists until the end

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. just as soon as you think you have worked it out....another twist....right to the end. Leaves you thinking and doubting you actually knew what was going on.

A bit too OTT, but still a page turner

It was an enjoyable enough book, but it all felt a bit too “Days of our Lives” far fetched.

Fun story - let down by the narrator

Loved this book, however I guess what was happening fairly early on, but still exciting to listen to it through.
the Narrator was a bit of a let down, I'm fine with the Australian accent, but the performance was subpar, the 'voices' she used, especially for Summer was grating and I often turned down the volume when she was speaking. it definitely felt like she was reading a book more than telling a story.

Money is the root of so much evil.

Money does not buy happiness and this storey highlights this. What are you willing to do to get money and who are you willing to hurt to get money? Evil is evident from the beginning and being a twin does not give you immunity.
I read this without taking a break. The first part was a bit wordy however the last part was worth the read as the whole story line was disclosed.

Interesting concept

I didn't mind this book. Although the story itself wasn't a rehash of anything else I've read, I'm just getting a bit over the "psycho woman" type thriller genre.
