A young bisexual British lord embarks on an unforgettable Grand Tour of Europe with his best friend/secret crush. An 18th-century romantic adventure for the modern age written by This Monstrous Thing author Mackenzi Lee - Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda meets the 1700s.
Henry “Monty” Montague doesn’t care that his roguish passions are far from suitable for the gentleman he was born to be. But as Monty embarks on his grand tour of Europe, his quests for pleasure and vice are in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family’s estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.
So Monty vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. But when one of Monty’s reckless decisions turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt, it calls into question everything he knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores.
Witty, dazzling, and intriguing at every turn, The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue is an irresistible romp that explores the undeniably fine lines between friendship and love.
Don't miss Felicity's adventures in The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, the highly anticipated sequel!

WOW
Incredible.
Spine-tingling suspense to witty remarks and comedy, covering a wide range of character personalities and dialogues which engage you as you embark on a Grand Tour with Monty, Percy and, Felicity.
A truely amazing book which lightly touches on LGBT and gender issues without sacrifice to the plot of the book.
Highly recommend, and now one of my absolute favourite books.

Rollicking fabulousness
The tone, the story, the performance - all totally wonderful. Humour, romance of all kinds, pirates, alchemy, what’s not to love? Recommended for grown up fans of young adult fiction at its finest.

Amazing and full of humour
This book was an absolute whirlwind of humour love and adventure. Historical fiction is not one of my favourite genres but this book completely captivated my mind and there was never a dull moment I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a laugh and a bit of excitement.

Laugh Out Loud Amazing!
The best Audible I have listened to by a mile. The story was well written, witty and hilarious- Mackenzi Lee did a fantastic job of creating the characters of Monty, Percy and Felicity. It was like you were right along with them on all their adventures. However, Christian Coulson as the narrator, really brought the characters to life. I will never be able to read this story (as I have the hard copy as well) without listening to him narrate it. They are synonymous, forever and always. I even listened to it back to back, it was that good. If you are undecided whether or not to listen to this book, I will make it for you..... DO IT, you will not be disappointed. Best bloody $14.95 of my life.

My favourite book. Ever.
This book was an adventure to read. Literally. It has pirates, magical cure alls, character development, POC representation, bisexuality representation, a hella good narration, AND a heartbreakingly beautiful love story to last a lifetime. The way Christian reads the story makes you feel like it's not being read at all, but that you're a happy little confidant along the whirlwind adventure they have through europe. And the descriptions are to. die. for. It's like narrative poetry the way the descriptions are written and there are a LOT of them. Do yourself a favour and read this wonderful book!
