Publisher's Summary
Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!
Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.
The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.
The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.
In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?
In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.
In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.
In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.
Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

"Jordan has a powerful vision of good and evil - but what strikes me as most pleasurable...is all the fascinating people moving through a rich and interesting world." (Orson Scott Card on The Wheel of Time)

Thankyou Brandon Sanderson
I must admit that I was a little sceptical about how a new writer would take up this epic series and if I would be disappointed in the different style of the new author, even to how the series would be finally wrapped up. What I really want to say is; Brandon Sanderson, you absolutely NAILED IT! It feels like you have kept to the essence of Robert Jordan's prose, but added your own flourishes and soul to the story. Thankyou for your passion, and thankyou for taking on your shoulders the pressure to complete another author's series and stay true to the story. Also to Harriet for wanting your husband's legacy to be completed as perfectly as possible.

Worth slogging through previous books
I was really struggling to continue the series until I got to this book. Glad I made it through the tedium of the previous books, they were becoming so waffly. Sanderson has taken command of the story and I now can't wait to read the final 2 books!

Book 12 and its the best so far
If anyone is reading reviews at book 12 of a 14 book series it’s purely for the sake of interest, you haven’t invested nearly 3 weeks of your life listening to the first 11 audiobooks only to get here and question whether the last 3, beginning here, one book across three volumes, is worth the listen..
Unbelievable book, perhaps my favourite ever. The way some of the storyline’s come together in this one is excellent and Sanderson has done an amazing job here, to be authentic to the original with his own little bit of flavour is really subtle and well done.

Not as padded as all previous books
A much better book that has a bit less waffle and padding as previous in the series. But of course youll know this if youve managed to get through the hard slogof the earlier books. Still the characters seem to absurdly dont wish to confer with other main characters to decide a forward plan. In real life this just wouldnt happen so detracts a bit from the story for me.

Well written
I think Brandon Sanderson has really captured the series at a critical time and so far shown great justice to Robert Jordan by continuing on in series original style keeping the storyline and characters true to the story

re edit needed
starts at chapter 28, skips to chapter 1, then to chapter 42. re edit this please, it makes it so hard to keep track, and your chapters never match up with the sections. lazy audible, lazy.
