A floating fortress occupied by warrior gnomes. A castle made of sand. A derelict submarine guarded by malfunctioning machines. A haunted crypt surrounded by lethal traps.

PLOT TWIST??!?! BEA AND FERDINAND R STILL ALIVE
i love this book sm it's literally the best thing EVER, that is def my fav book in the series so far, i love the unseriousness and humour from the system ai and donut, but then the seriousness of carl, and i LOVE the really traumatic backstory of carl as a child sprinkled in like the perfect amount

The end is nigh
I have been smashing these book back to back. I’m also getting sad it’s sort of coming to an end in a few short books. Please Matt, write many, many, many more DCC books. I could never get tired of them

Endless entertainment
First time leaving a review on anything. Love the books, love the writing and especially love the narration. Each book in the series gets better and better. How is this not a movie series already! Even an anime would work really well. Keep up the awesome work.
