Publisher's Summary

It starts almost by accident: the women who buy their knitting needles and wool from Georgia Walker's little yarn shop linger for advice, for a coffee, for a chat and before they know it, every Friday night is knitting night.

And as the needles clack, and the garments grow, the conversation moves on from patterns and yarn to life, love and everything. They may be different ages, from different backgrounds and facing different problems, but they are drawn together by threads of affection that prove as durable as the sweaters they knit.

Excellent

What a delightful story of an everyday single mother struggling and doing her utmost for her family whilst working full time. The characters in the club were funny and covered all walks of life. An easy listen tear jerker but delightful story

Friday Night Knitting Club

I loved this story. I’m a knitter so the setting was very enjoyable for me. Very relatable characters.

How to turn adversity into a positive life.

I liked the strength shown by the women in this book, drawn together by the traditional craft of knitting. A problem shared is a problem solved.

A stitch in time

Thoroughly enjoyed walking my dogs each day and listening to this engaging story, it was only probably a little embarrassing when I cried during the final chapters ... I think people i passed on my walk must have thought i was going through a serious relationship break up ....

simple story of the human experience.

Simple story of the human experience. The ending was a little abrupt but the story was complete. Story not complex but nice.

Enjoyable

This was a clever story incorporating much more than knitting. Friendships, life's concerns , problems and relationships.
