A Gamechanger

Jon’s book (and the Sweet Spot show) has significantly changed the way I approach golf. In particular, my mental approach, practice routines and gameplay. I used to place so much emphasis and expectations on my performing at an elite level, but then I get really upset when I didn’t score well.

His effective guidance and succinct methods have reoriented how I practice and play smart, while remembering to enjoy the game. For example, I recently topped the women’s PAR comp leaderboard with +6 and now have the confidence to join more comp days. Thank you Jon for your incredible insight and pouring your heart into making this book available for recreational Golfer’s like myself. Bless, Karen

Golf code hacked

Amazing and great to hear after 40yrs playing and some set backs after back surgery this really allowed me to play smarter and think differently in all aspects of the game. After initiating a few little thought and routine things I shaved 11 strokes off my next round. Will definitely come back to this time and time again. Cheers

Honest coaching not focussed on technique

Honest coaching not focussed on technique. Golfers are determined to control everything on the golf course. Jon reminders you that you play golf for fun and the parts you can control during golf doesn’t include swing mechanics, but it does include practice, preparation and the mental game.

Brilliant top-down perspective; invaluable coaching advice

I've only been playing golf for ~6 months, and I'm hopelessly addicted. I discovered this book after binging on The Sweet Spot podcast's entire back catalogue, trying to learn as much as I could. I promise you - this book is exactly what any player needs to improve. it didn't take me long to learn this game can break you without a strong mind. My first ever golf book was Zen Golf (brilliant), and this book has elements of that in there, only expounded upon, and with a more practical approach to individual components of your game. Along with Zen Golf, I'd now say this book is easily in my top 5 golf game improvement titles. I finished it, and immediately hit play again. You won't regret it. Thanks Jon!

Only listen if you want to get better at golf

The number of light bulb moments in this book is fantastic. The skill is in remembering them all and applying them in the heat of battle against yourself on the course! The book has a pleasant tone to the reading and is easy to listen to anywhere.
