About this listen
Kit Mason has lived a life of unimaginable pain. An ex-prostitute, she has fled the clutches of an abusive pimp and now finds herself living hand to mouth in a new city, without anyone to help her.
Frances Thornton seems to be living the perfect life. A lawyer from a privileged background, her perfect façade hides the painful secrets that still haunt her.
Brought together by their attempts to conquer their addictions in an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, the two women strike up an unlikely friendship.
But can they find strength in each other - or will the demons of their past catch up with them?

Loved it!!
I'm a huge fan of Angela Marsons and this didn't disappoint. From what I've read this is one of her earlier novels but you wouldn't know from reading/listening to it. Such a great story!

Brilliant!!
I chose to read this book because of its reviews. Apparently it was good for a first time writer. They were not wrong. It was a very enjoyable book! The characters were very relatable and sometimes I even forget that they are not real! I have nothing bad to say about this book.

Tacky romance
An awful book that goes nowhere except where you expect it to go. Pretty Woman and Mills and Boon all in one. I will be returning this one.
