About this listen

Contains books three and four of The Forever Series.

Endless fighting. Hopeless odds. Then things got worse. Jon Ryan has beaten the odds so far. He saved humanity from a sinister alien threat, and he stopped the insane android president of the United States three separate times. But the president won't stay dead, and a super race threatens to end Jon's hopes for a peaceful future.

Jon's mind-boggling alien technology has been enough to keep everyone alive. But, just when there's reason for hope, a new, more deadly race sets its sights on him. This threat may just be unstoppable. They made Jon fight. He plans to make them very sorry they did.

Meanwhile, Jon discovers an alternate time-line version of himself, one who suffered the loss of his species. Jon finds himself on a quest to find his duplicate who's lost in time and space.

Can Jon save humanity, his family, and himself when defeat looks absolutely certain? Can one good man stand against unbeatable odds one more time?

Love the story and the performance

Story is just as good as all the John ryan stories, with a great and consistent performance adding life to all the characters

story has taken a dive

I will still listen to the whole story as it still has my interest.
some of the interaction is predicted and at time monotonous.
Having some characters, change position, gave new life to the story.
but still the main character misses massive cues, ones androids should not be capable of.
a simple story worth the listen, as the reading is brilliant

Loved it

Really enjoyed part 1 books 1 & 2 and again with this book part 3 or books 3 & 4. Great story with characters I could relate to. Now starting part 3. Highly recommend these books for their satisfying stories and the fantastic narration by Scott. Trust me it’s worth every cent.

Fantastic

Absolutely love this series. Faultless narration is just the cherry on top. Anyway, time to binge the next part!

weak science, poor narration ( baddies with Russian accents?)

l liked the roller coaster story lines but the characters and poor attention to detail leave you with an empty "what could have been" feeling. The narration was pretty crap too.

Plotless and pointless

So full of plot holes it hurts
Pointless story arcs which don’t finish
Character U turns and meaningless meandering
Even stoops too magic as a plot device to solve a problem with no explanation and creating numerous other plot holes......
Struggled through it while hitting the forward 30sec button

First book was a good concept but this is awful

Don’t buy, avoid
