Jill Ramsower
About this listen
Now in a convenient audio bundle, here are the first three novels in Jill Ramsower's captivating Five Families Series.
Love and danger are intertwined for the Genovese sisters as they're caught up in a dark web of schemes and violence, and find the ruthless men who will rule their hearts.
Forever Lies
When Alessia gets stuck in an elevator at work, she's trapped with Luca, the hottest man she's ever seen. But she can tell something dark hides beneath his charming facade, especially once he decides he's not letting her go.
Never Truth
Sofia swore she'd never forgive Nico for leaving her in darkness. When Sofia's powerful father hires Nico to protect her, Nico knows he'll never be strong enough to walk away from her a second time...but convincing her won't be easy.
Blood Always
Maria knows her arranged marriage is the best thing for her family, but she didn't count on her husband Matteo's ruthless determination to possess her--or their sizzling chemistry. Will they survive the passion that burns between them?
Author's Note: These are mafia romances intended for mature audiences with some elements that may be inappropriate for sensitive audiences. For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

Masterpiece
Narrators and author made this a non stop listen. The plot in each book is seriously thought out and with that totally riveting to the very end. Highly recommend this series.

Overall 1.5⭐️ - 2🌶️ - 3🎧
Book 1 - Alessia and Luca - 2⭐️ / 2🌶️ / 5🎧
> The audiobook wasn't bad as it was a easy listen with Teddy Hamilton😏
Book 2 - Sofia and Nico - 1.5⭐️ / 2🌶️ / 2🎧
>The audiobook was meh, Wen Ross didn't suit Nico's character and just annoyed me.
Book 3 - Maria and Matteo - 1⭐️ / 2🌶️ / 1🎧
> When I looked into the narrator Jo Raylan, she is an older woman and I think this is the worst thing you could possible do if you are trying to imitate a 25 year old... she sounded like a 40 year old smoker and it was horrendous!! 💀

Not a slow burn, just slow…
All narrators are of my favourites for easy listening yet with such poorly written novels they struggled to engage me in any capacity. I feel for them. The main characters in all 3 novels didn’t have any form of connection & no sense or reason to the thoughtlessly choreographed love scenes. Much overuse of word play & repeats in singular sentences left me wanting to pull out my hair… I landed on the bed, he pulled me down the bed, because I was on the bed..??? Disappointing!
