About this listen
On the island of Avalon, everyone has magical abilities.
Except Selena Pearce.
As if being the only nonmagical person on the island isn’t bad enough, her parents happen to be the king and queen of Avalon - and the most magical people alive.
She’s never felt like she fit in on Avalon, but that all changes when she leaves the island and meets Julian - a mesmerizing, mysterious human. Everything feels perfect between them at first... until he drags her through a portal to the enchanted realm of the fae, where Selena learns that there’s more to the mystery of why she doesn’t have magic than she ever imagined.
Long-buried secrets soon emerge, and she discovers that to escape the fae realm, she must compete in the annual Faerie Games - a televised reality show competition where half-bloods fight to the death.
To survive, she’ll have to make alliances, unravel the mysteries of her past, and figure out whether she can trust Julian. He wants to help her, and there’s no denying the connection between them. But Julian’s already betrayed her once. Why wouldn’t he do it again?
Begin the now completed five-book series with over 13,000 ratings on Amazon and Goodreads. Good, but we need more books than the 5
good story and very much like the fairie version of hunger games. lot of unanswered questions right at the end when there needs more story. I hope Michelle makes more books. preferably another sequel to this.
but overall, I enjoyed this set of books

Pretty good
This was pretty good although pretty much just a faerie version of the hunger games. I am a little bit confused, didn’t get to find out what happens with the demons and the half bloods etc, do I have to read a different series for that? I will have to look in to it. Also why did the vampire king and the faerie prince have the same name? That was a little confusing at times.. but it was a good series none the less!

great books but the middle of a fuller story
I loved this series. directly after finishing it I did some research and this is the centre of a bigger spread of books that would make more of a storyline and sense as it just stops with many unanswered questions I felt to my core it had to be bigger!!
Selena and Julian's story is this series.. the world Michelle created is by far larger than these 5 books. I for one cannot wait to start from the start! great books and world! loved it!

Predictable and inconsistent
I couldn't even finish the series, I didn't even finish the first book. All the storylines were predictable and cringe. Not to mention it was inconsistent, one moment they only follow Roman mythology and yet there is Greek mythology? I wanted to like but it was average
