A journey...
John takes you on his journey. I felt I was right there with him, from the 'effed up foster homes, the NY LES in the 70's and 80's, NY Hardcore Punk scene, high-speed police chases, betrayal, falling in and out of love, forgiveness and the PMA. Evocative, I laughed, cried, got angry and forgave as along with JJ. My own demons surfaced and old unhealed wounds were triggered as I reflected and gained insights to take forward steps using John's, Never Give Up attitude as inspiration.

What an amazing story and so great to have it told by the man himself. It was so captivating and hard to stop listening! Excited to read Meat is for Pussies and the PMA Effect next!!

Impossibly Brilliant
It had me pinned from the start. Great story. Even better it came from the horses mouth. Since listening to this I have slowly changed a few things in my life. Thanks John. I'm about to hit play again.

I’ve read two sides of the story..
I’ve read both Harley and John’s books and they both have one thing in common: massive egos. I can see why they both clashed, they’re so alike. That said, this was a great insight into 80s hardcore and well read by John.
