Publisher's Summary
This course teaches you how to be an entrepreneur and how to think like one - skills that are essential whether you are starting a business, expanding an existing business, boosting your career as an employee, pursuing a social cause, or seeking to increase your impact as a teacher, coach, minister, or other professional. Packed with fascinating lessons from legendary entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, and Henry Ford, these 24 lectures are entertaining as well as practical.
You begin by investigating what makes a good business idea. Then you learn how to turn that idea into a successful enterprise by defining the market and the customers you will serve, attracting backers, building your brand, and growing your venture to the point where you can sell it, if you want, for an impressive profit.
Topics covered include market research, choosing a business structure, the all-important business plan, financial statements, running a home office, family businesses, franchises, intellectual property, employee and customer relations, and entrepreneurial exhaustion. Professor Goldsby also discusses different entrepreneurial styles, and he looks ahead to your career options after you succeed and are ready to try another challenge. He notes that entrepreneurs play an indispensible role in society: they are the ones who find problems, recognize the opportunities in those problems, then fix them and make the world a better place.

Good lecture
It is like listening to your professor at Uni. So don’t expect it to be as dramatic as other audiobooks. But the content is great. Worth listening and write notes as you go. Accompanying PDF is really helpful

Brilliant roadmap
I've never felt so empowered to take on entrepreneurship. Easy to pick up on each stage as you go, but worth multiple listens as you continue on the journey. Cuts right through to the core concepts and actions you need to undertake without feeling overwhelmed, while giving you enough direction to do further reading.
I've recommended this audiobook to a number of friends, both in startups and intrapreneurs without larger organisations who are developing new products and services.

Excellent, all round
Exceptional. Structured, intuitive, unpretentious, grounded in reality but also discussing the benefits of lofty idealism; no hyperbole, no rambling, perfectly sequenced. If you have *that* entrepreneurial drive and find it hard to enunciate your myriad of thoughts moods fears and doubts, check this out.
Michael Goldsby, thank you so much

Wooden Computerised Voice
Dispassionate and uninterested lecturer, it sounded like he was reading a script or that it was a computer deep fake. content is fine, lacking any novel insights but good fundamentals.
I desperately want these to sound like Ted Lectures with some passion and enthusiasm behind them but so far, it's really just someone reading a PDF to a class.
