About this listen
When five college friends cross America in a minivan to find themselves, they chance upon a road that isn’t on any map. They can’t resist exploring it. The van breaks down. They find a town, a massive trailer park steeped in squalor. The town isn’t on any map either. They find people in town. They’ll wish they hadn’t. The only sanctuary is the Big House - a giant mansion at the center of town that appears to be abandoned, only all the lights come on at night. Inside the Big House is the secret of the town. Inside, they’ll finally find themselves. They won’t like what they find.

Entertaining
I liked it. it was well written and held my attention.
probably more suited to an anthology though, as it is quite short.

Really unsettling and unnerving. The book definitely succeeded in making me feel uneasy. The setting was well done but the sexual remarks and violence was too much for me personally. I'm glad it was short, otherwise I wouldn't have made it all the way through.

If you like horror and not easily offended it’s a good short book.
This book is really well written but felt a little rushed. The vocabulary that the characters use is on the extreme horror side. It felt like it was a prelude to a bigger book and the end was left open.
