Maggie Jacobs
About this listen
Maggie Jacobs is passionate about driving positive change and growth for individuals, teams, executives, and organizations. She has spent 10+ years working with C-suite executives, turning the seemingly impossible into reality. A survivor of trials and traumas, Maggie has developed a philosophy that strength and resilience can be found with open, honest, and authentic communication, solution-finding - and decisive action.
Today, Maggie speaks, writes, trains, and advises individuals on achieving more and transcending the boundaries of their own perception. This isn't a “how to” or “10 steps to success” handbook to take you superficially from zero to hero. It's an inspiring guide to help you find your voice, stop playing small, and step into your greatness, both personally and professionally.
“Inside each of us is a well of infinite fire waiting to be ignited. May you find that spark and surround yourself with those who fan your flames.” (Maggie Jacobs)

The Elevated EA
Thanks for the book, Maggie. It was exactly what I was looking for in the changeover from being a level b exec assistant to being a level c EA to a CEO, and it assisted me with the belief in myself that I could do it. I liked that Maggie wrote it from her own perspective and shared her personal story, while weaving encouraging thought process changes into the book as a learning, etc. I also like that she calls out the attitude to the administration field because there is a perception that we are ‘only admin’ and the reality is, take away that admin function and the organisation experiences chaos and adds responsibilities to those leaders that should be devoting all their time to strategy and successful projects, not having to waste precious hours of their day doing admin tasks. I enjoyed this book a lot more than another EA one I am reading currently which is dry and flavourless, and seems to forget it was written for EAs. Maggie keeps the EA role at the very core of this book. If you are thinking of the leap in an EA role to the next level, this book will give you great encouragement.
