Different approach to war and highly believable.

Different approach to war and highly believable. By that I mean the build up to war, the initial attacks etc are not the norm but the way this is written makes it just as likely, maybe more so, than the standard “USA drawn into a war” approach.

Narration was also excellent, really bringing the characters and action to life.

Definitely read/listen to this but I would highly recommend reading the preceding books in the series, rather than jumping in here.

narrator has hard time expressing stressed voices

lots of action in this installment, narrator struggles to make desperation and stress believeable but that doesnt really detract from the story.
