About this listen
The Eaglefied Woman centers on Isaiah 40:31: “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
The name “Eaglefied” came while meditating on this scripture. By using the eagle as the theme for the book, the author reveals how women can rise above circumstances. The book explains how to advance and soar by first learning to wait upon the Lord and practicing the art of being still, then recognizing the storm and flying above it.
God is raising up women who, like the eagle, wait upon God and move according to his timing. They are women who know how to exchange their weakness for his strength, their inabilities for his ability, their inadequacies for his sufficiency. They do this by staying in close fellowship and intimacy with God, drawing upon him to lift their wings and letting the turbulent storms thrust them higher.
The Eaglefied Woman can be used as a resource for mentoring, bible study groups, and personal growth and development. Aside from the analogies, there are many thought-provoking questions and practical ways to apply the knowledge gained, such as a list of daily confession and weekly affirmations.
