The inability of American authors to write well about English history.
I liked the relationship between the main character and her dog. In general the people are decidedly stupid and irritating. I will try my best to finish listening. I do not recommend this book and will not buy another by this author.

Slow and boring unfortunately
I don’t like weak heroes and the whole story line was based on a simple problem that a short conversation could have solved at the start. Very disappointing.
