great follow up
unfortunately I loved the first book so much, no sequel is probably going to be as good, but it's not far off. it starts off with much more action, than the more character driven first book, so was initially worried the story wouldn't be as good. but though there is more generally action, as the story progresses it involves the other characters more. and I thought the ending was quite beautiful.
