Following the death of her maternal grandfather, 16-year-old Allison and her mother move back to the family farm in rural West Virginia. When they arrive on the isolated mountain homestead, old memories, suppressed for a decade, surface, and Allison realizes reality isn’t what she’d been raised to believe it to be.
