Publisher's Summary
Melanie Hoskins, an experienced firefighter-paramedic, has been recruited by a very selective and secret organisation known as The Division. Their mission is to protect the populace and secure the continuation of the United States. The Division is only activated at times of dire need. This just so happens to be one of those times. Based in New York City, Hoskins is forced to leave her civilian life and those she loves behind, and join the front line to try to control the 'dollar flu' virus that has been spreading throughout the city.
Not everyone agrees with how this outbreak should be dealt with, and those who used to keep the city streets free of waste have taken matters into their own hands and formed 'The Cleaners'. This group of sanitation workers, custodians and janitors, believe that the only true way to clean the city, is to burn away the infection, including those who still carry it. The mission is clear, until Hoskins discovers that one of The Cleaners’ newest recruits is someone she can’t bring herself to view as the enemy.
Based on the hit Ubisoft game Tom Clancy’s The Division and starring Katee Sackoff and Shannon Woodward, The Division: Hearts on Fire is an action packed drama that explores duty, love and the impossible situation of a woman trapped between the two.
Hearts on Fire is written and directed by Kc Wayland, an award-winning writer, producer, editor, director and United States Army veteran whose film and audio work has been enjoyed around the world.

Love The Division
Love The Division so was naturally looking forward to this.
The story is ok, not that exciting but not terrible. Could have done with a narrative for clarity.
Performance was pretty solid.

Modern Action
Great cast, good actors, original story line. Tended to drag though towards the end.

wow
It was a really good experience not what I was expecting some of the acting sounds a little corny but it makes up for it in the end and I don't regret listening to it having really enjoyed the first game this fed some pretty cool atmosphere into that experience and has me excited to play the second game.
I really hope they do more of these

Think, action movie. But you can't see it.
Basically it's a really cool action movie that to cannot see. Good and bad. If you're lazy the movie becomes a fizzle. Lacking intensity and excitement due to the dramatic visuals. But if you can run with the authors intentions and direction you can muster up a pretty stunning array of action sequences that would rival any Hollywood A-List blockbuster. I only knocked off a star for performance and overall because prefer to have the topic (if gunfights) described to me in detail. In this piece we get a lot of audible gunfire, people running and yelling, things exploding but no actual description of what is happening other than the dialogue between characters. But if you're a Division player this will be a good listen and worth the time invested.

Great for fans of the Division.
Being a fan of KC Waylands We're Alive series and an avid player of the Division 2, this was a match made in heaven that has made me go back to experience the first Division game to experience more of the story and universe.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of a larger Division audiobook universe.

Gripping Story
I was familiar with KC Wayland's We're Alive series so was excited to see what this entry in to Tom Clancy's The Division would be like. I'm happy to say it was as good as the Alive series and well worth the 5hours to listen to. Especially as it is part of the free audible collection makes it a nobrainer definite listen for fans of We're Alive for sure. Also if you are a GraphicAudio or Big Finish listener you will probably enjoy the extra audio finishers they use to enhance the story.
