Publisher's Summary

What would you do if you were sitting quietly in your living room when a mysterious couple appeared from out of nowhere-and then told you they were "ascended masters" who had come to reveal some shocking secrets of existence and teach you the miraculous powers of advanced forgiveness? When two such teachers appeared before Gary Renard in 1992, he chose to listen to them (and ask a lot of impertinent questions). The result is this startling book: an extraordinary record of 17 mind-bending conversations that took place over nearly a decade, reorienting the author’s life and giving the world an uncompromising introduction to a spiritual teaching destined to change human history.

Critic Reviews

“Destined to be one of the most significant contributions to spiritual literature in this century. The message in Gary Renard’s book The Disappearance of the Universe is of great importance to the healing of ourselves and our planet.” — Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, the best-selling author of The Shift

“Quite simply the most unusual and most well done spirituality title around.” — Geoff Rotunno, The Book Review

Wonderful!

I read the hard copy first and chose to listen to the audiobook while studying ACIM. I got so much more out of it this second time around and absolutely loved the way this was presented. Extremely enjoyable, thank you to the author Gary, Elysia and Gavin!

Changed my thoughts which changed my life.

I have found this book very helpful in understanding a course in miracles. I have listened and relistened to the trilogy I have integrated them, ACIM and the peace of god into my life.

I originally bought the abridged version. I was very happy when the full version came out thank-you Gary!!

Worth upgrading from the abridged version

This is the full version which I have been waiting and hoping for for a long time. And it did not disappoint at all. So much more valuable information than the abridged version that was about half the length.

The narration is also a lot better and more consistent with his other three books (same narrators for Arten and Pursah), and Gary is much more relaxed and natural than his first attempt.

This is the book that I recommend to anyone who shows an interest in A Course in Miracles, and it’s great for long-term students too. After 18 years of study and practice, I still pick up new things and experience a deeper understanding of aspects of the Course, every time I listen to Gary’s books.

I have found the same thing with Ken Wapnick’s recordings and books. I mostly just alternate between the two authors and really enjoy the repetition because I’m a different person each time I cycle through all the recordings and books. So I’m always getting it on a deeper level, intellectually and experientially. That’s the power of the Course for which I am immensely grateful.

A word of caution

Misleading and preaches a false gospel. This book claims to lead us to a better understanding of Jesus and his teachings but is based on false revelation and is an upside down bible with an aim of undoing our need for a saviour. Many modern self help and spirituality books have this aim but this book does it in a way that twists and manipulates phrases out of context and sows doubt just the same as the serpent in Eden did. It is actively anti-God.
