Publisher's Summary

Paris, 1917: Parentless sixteen-year-old Mizza Bricard makes a vow: to be remembered on her own terms. This promise drives her through couture houses until, finally, a fashion legend is created - one that will endure for generations.

New York, 1970: Designer Astrid Bricard arrives in Chelsea ready to change the fashion world. And she does - but cast in the role of muse to her lover. Just as Astrid's star is finally poised to ascend in its own right, she vanishes, leaving behind only a white silk gown.

French Countryside, Present Day: Blythe Bricard is the daughter of fashion's most infamous 70s power couple, but she turned her back on that world years ago. Fate, however, has other plans, as Blythe discovers there is more to her iconic family - and herself - than she ever knew.

Very well written!

Time was a bit stretched but the characters seemed very real. I loved that the three women were brave but not super-heroes. That made them more magical to me than any other characters.

Stellar Storytelling

There is something very special in how Natasha Lester novels transcend the reader into the world between the pages. The generational stories are just so exquisite each time. This book was once again phenomenal! I will forever hear the narrator introducing the Mizza Bricard chapters in my ears! I’m sad the book is finished and I have to wait for the author to write another one. Hurry up Natasha! 😁😂

If i was bait, you hooked me at line one.

Absolutely captivating. I wanted to slow down time just so i had more time to finish this in less than 3 days.

I didn't want the story to end, it was lovely having some of my favorite character's from previous books have parts in this.

Natasha, you have definitely written a novel, i'll be coming back to either listen or read myself.

I love how Barrie expertly switches from character to character keeping you fully engaged.

Narrator’s grating voice

Vapid story, shallow characters, confusing storyline- irritating narrator - awful waste of time. Would not recommend this book
