About this listen
Maze Runner 3: The Trials are over. WICKED have collected all the information they can. Now it's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test. But something has happened that no one at WICKED has foreseen: Thomas has remembered more than they think. And he knows WICKED can't be trusted....
The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than anyone could have imagined. With the Gladers divided, can they all make it?

Pushed Key Characters Out Of The Story
Enjoyed the series and worth listening through but to me, Death Cure was the weakest in the trilogy where some aspects did ruin parts of the story for me. That said there are great moments throughout the book for those fans of the series that make it worth the listen / read.
My main gripe is that certain characters were still in the story but were awkwardly pushed out / kept to the side so they had little involvement giving them less attention than what they really should have received which was to the detriment of the book and due to the extent of it some might say the entire trilogy.

A real shuck book story about shanks
The word count for shuck and shanks made up about 10% of the word count for the whole series. Well, maybe not that much but it did feel like it. Characters were always angry. Movie storyline and book plots have massive differences. Glad to have finally finished the audio books

The end of a torturous journey.
This book was hard to finish, I was so tired, but I couldn't stop. Just like its predecessors it is non stop aniexty as you want the Gladers to survive. Though the end left me with such mixed emotions after much thought and contemplation I can't imagine it ending any other way.

A Great Trilogy
What made the experience of listening to The Death Cure the most enjoyable?
It turned out to be a love story amongst teenagers who are innocent and yet batteling for their lives.
What other book might you compare The Death Cure to, and why?
The other two before this, they are all great
Have you listened to any of Mark Deakins’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Yes this one is just as good as the other previous two.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending, the innocence, the expectation. Mind you didn't see that one coming.
Any additional comments?
You'll love it, so will your teenager, listen to it.

Good ending!
I wouldn't say that the series was incredible but I enjoyed it enough and am glad to say pushing through to the last book paid off!
Gosh so many tugs at the heart strings in this one!
