Publisher's Summary
In The Crowd - A Study of the Popular Mind, social theorist Gustave Le Bon gives historical insight into the political thinking of his era while offering timeless social commentary. Le Bon challenges the listener to contemplate how individual ideas change - often to a destructive end - when employed in a setting of groupthink. As technology and communications innovations make group formation easy and accessible for better or for worse, this book's message is certainly one that will not be lost in the crowd.

incredible prediction of current day
We are experiencing a crisis of excessive government and continued erosion of individual liberty, all as a result of the long march of socialism - all predicted in this book, written over 100 years ago.
Le Bon predicts that the decrease of individual liberty will invariably result in the manifestation of The Crowd... something that is certain to smash the Western World before 2030...
Highly recommend this along with "The Suicide of the West" by James Burnham
