Be prepared to flinch as three friends attempt to merge love, greed, and fraud. A tightly knit audio drama is carried out expertly by a talented cast unfazed by working in the audio medium. The story compresses time, and all actors seem firmly on the same imaginary stage as they weave their stories of love, betrayal, and shame against a background of big city bohemian life. It's easy to fall into the seductive rhythm of this performance - and it's over all too soon as the final blue brushstrokes are laid down. Listeners will enjoy this unusually cinematic audio theater offering.
