Hetta’s family now knows Wyn’s true identity, but that doesn’t mean they approve of their relationship. Princes are all very well, but Wyn’s not human - though he’s spent 10 years pretending to be.

With gossip spreading like wildfire, Hetta and Wyn receive a royal summons. I’ve fallen in love with these books, with beautiful language and rich characters. I found it a bit slow for a few chapters but that soon changed. Narrator is perfect too!

A lovely story. I started these books with the first one in the series provided free by audible. Good move because I then purchased the rest in the series. I find them thoroughly enjoyable and a refreshing difference to other series I’ve listened to, not to say better just different. I also like the narrators voice and how she draws you into the story, so thanks Finty.

I have really enjoyed listening to Finty Williams's narration. She so perfectly captures the tone and expression of Lancaster's writing and she breathes such life into the characters. I love this series so much!
