About this listen
Christmas Livingstone has 10 rules for happiness, the most important of which is 'absolutely no romantic relationships'.
In The Chocolate Apothecary, her enchanting artisan store in Tasmania, she tempers chocolate and creates handmade delicacies. Surrounded by gifts for the senses, in this shop chocolate isn't just good for you, it's medicine.
And then one day a stranger arrives at her front door - a disheveled botanist seeking her help. She really doesn't need Lincoln van Luc to walk into her life, even if he does have the nicest blue eyes, the loveliest meddling grandmother and a gorgeous newly rescued dog. She really doesn't need any of it. Or does she?
Set across Tasmania, Paris and Provence, this is a glorious novel of a creative woman about to find out how far in life a list of rules will take her, with an enticing tangle of freshly picked herbs, pots of flowers and lashings of chocolate scenting the air.

A light, sweet and delectable story.
Great light stress relief. I loved it. Narrator matched the style of the story.

Breathing
Story a bit predictable but the narrator killed it for me, she needs to learn how to breath so there isn’t a gasp for air all the time, I’m not even finished the book yet and not sure if I will.

Fantabulous!
I'm so addicted to Josephine Moons style of writing. The Dog humping scene had me snorting with laughter nearly running off the road. downloading another one of JMs now.

A feast of a story
The only downside to this book was the insatiable craving for good chocolate that it inspired.
A lovely, light-hearted tale of love and the tastebuds. Very enjoyable.

Couldn’t listen
Only made it about 30min in so can’t comment on the story. Could not stand listening to the narrator any more - sounded like she was reading a children’s book.

The Breathing!
I couldn't get past the first chapter as the narrators breathing was too off-putting. It's a shame as I love a good chocolate story.

acceptable
While I found the story ok, it was cringeworthy in many places and somewhat predictable. I found the narrator difficult to listen to. It is not my favourite Moon title. I really only finished it as I don't like leaving things unfinished. I will listen to more of her titles though.
