About this listen
Anty Boisjoly tackles the strange case of a war hero who visits his old friends on Christmas morning—after being murdered on Christmas Eve.
In The Case of the Ghost of Christmas Morning, Wodehousian clubman, flaneur, idler, and sleuth Anty Boisjoly pits his sardonic wits against another pair of impossible murders. This time, Anty Boisjoly’s Aunty Boisjoly is the only possible suspect when a murder victim stands his old friends a farewell drink at the local, hours after being murdered.
Like The Case of the Canterfell Codicil, The Case of the Ghost of Christmas Morning fits the narrow literary needs of those who feel that Lord Peter Wimsey isn’t frivolous enough or that Blandings Castle could stand a few more baffling murders.

Another brilliant story
Just as hilarious, fun, engaging and mysterious as the first novel, I loved reading this! It was perfectly narrated again. I hope P.J. Fitzsimmons keeps writing these stories!

Follows "Canterfell Codicil" beautifully.
This murder / mystery book sticks to a theme similar to the above, but is a totally stand alone book.
The author ties up & links in all the characters very cleverly, with some nice little surprises along the way. The best line is when Sally tells our main character "there's a shovel in the shed" - he says " oh yes, duly noted" then after a very long pause realises he not only has to fetch it but actually use it. Very good.
Absolute stand out in both books though, is the authors description of "weather", it's like you're really there yourself, brilliant & hilarious 📚
