About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

A hilarious fantasy, perfect for ages seven and up, by master storyteller Terry Pratchett - the first book he ever wrote!

In the beginning, there was nothing but endless flatness. Then came the Carpet....

That's the old story everyone knows and loves (even if they don't really believe it). But now the Carpet is home to many different tribes and peoples and there's a new story in the making.

The story of Fray, sweeping a trail of destruction across the Carpet, and two brothers, who set out on an adventure to end all adventures.

great book, one glitch

really loved this story, great writing and very good narration, however it has a lot of volume variance making it too soft and too loud alternately.

Another great adventure!

What imagination. I think I will never vacuum another carpet. So symbolic too, of our own little world.

The story was good if not hard to follow

I like this book. It’s nice and simple and has great world building. The narrator also does a superb job it reminds me of how to train your dragon.

This is a great story

I have just finished this and. had forgotten how good a story it is and to have it read by David was the icing on top

The one reality where the carpet people survived

I dislike the fact that the moles tried to destroy
the empire and I can get a ride donated a little bit of gochugang

chuckles

Not my favourite Pratchett adventure but some good chuckles and witty insights into the History of Civilisation along the way.
