Phenomenal
I may have had some bias coming into this story, as I am a HUGE fan of Morbid. But this book blew me away. I was hooked into the characters by the end of chapter 2. I have completely binge listened this entire book in a day. “ could not put down” as they say.
It is so well written, with great plot twists and development of such complex and fascinating characters. I cannot wait for more

Highly recommend
This book had me on the edge!! I’m normally someone who can pick plots, but Alaina!! As an OG morbid listener from the underwater days.. I had to support, but I’m over the moon I did!! This book gave me chills and they multiplied throughout the book! The references to our good old wet lettuce big bad’s and the accuracy when portraying body decomposition! This book is mint!

Favourite podcasters to favourite Author!
It took me an absolute minute to readjust my timeline when it was revealed that Emily's story was 7 years earlier but holy damn! What a story! Thank you so much for always entertaining me! Sorry I'm late to the game of reading your amazing book (kids, right?!) and I cannot wait for the next one!! We all love you! (From Australia)

Great Listen!
Loved it, the hunt scene is crazy and thinking about being hunted like that is scary. Had to listen as I love her podcast "Morbid" thats a must listen to as well :)

Enthralling from start to finish
Absolutely chilling & I loved it! I devoured this book in one sitting because it was too captivating to turn off. Jeremy is truly a thing of nightmares.

Love a good twist!
Alaina’s writing helps you picture, feel, hear and smell the scene; you are completely transported. I love a good twist and love it even more when I don’t guess it too early: Fabulous!
