Amusing murder-mystery!!

Cat burglar Bernie Rhodenbarr overhears the murder of his dentist’s ex-wife as he hides in her closet. While suspicion initially falls on the dentist, it’s not long before he implicates Bernie to get himself off the hook. I loved the humour in this, especially the one-sided conversation whole Bernie is in the dentist’s chair! There were so many amusing one-liners in this, but my favourite was the drunken conversation when Bernie lets slip that he’s a cat burglar and someone asks him what he does with all the cats. Audio narrator Richard Ferrone outdoes himself here, it’s a great performance (currently free on the Audible Plus catalogue)!!
