About this listen
Duet narration by Lacy Laurel and Teddy Hamilton.
She was his first love, his first heartbreak, and his only regret.
Zane Windsor always loved the way Celeste Harrison’s eyes light up when he infuriates her. It just took him years to realize that what he felt for his childhood rival wasn’t hatred.
When they begin working for their family businesses, competing on a larger scale than ever before, he decides he wants it all with her — and what Zane Windsor wants, he gets.
Zane and Celeste discover just how thin the line between love and hate truly is, falling harder than either of them thought possible...
…until an unexpected tragedy leaves them wondering if any of it was ever real at all.
Led by a desire for revenge, Zane brings Celeste’s company to the brink of bankruptcy, leaving both of their grandparents no choice but to intervene.
The Windsors and Harrisons agree to a merger — on one condition: Zane and Celeste must marry each other.

The narration makes it next level
The narration on this book is next level and really makes the story. come to life.
There’s parts of the story I wish had been done differently. It would have been good to explore the middle section more deeply, I don’t want to add spoilers in the review. Definitely an enjoyable listen.

great listen
Loved the main characters and their banter. Storyline was very good but the second part went on a bit too long. I found the female narration a bit grating at times.

Just as amazing
Spoiler Alert*
So I knew from the previous book that she would be the one to mess up. It worked well in the end though. It's different I love this series and this one didn't disappoint. I have a slight problem though; the trigger warning should be at the start of the audiobook. Usually, I'm prepared for that but I needed time to get through the book after.

Fantastic instalment to this fun series!
I have loved all of these couples and their stories. The arranged marriage trope over several books, but in completely different ways gives each book its unique charm. All the books are filled with great humour and banter along with a growing family, bringing its own connections throughout the group.
The Second chance trope is not one I usually enjoy, but the angst and fight in this one was great. A fun enemies to lovers, to enemies to lovers story with fun ups and downs along the way. thoroughly enjoyed the grovelling from both sides along with the deep feelings they had to work through. Fantastic instalment to this fun series!
