Written so long ago but still a great read.

loved it!
Enjoyable endearing characters, funny, romantic and excellent narrator. A feel good novel with an unbelievably naive but incredibly capable female lead. But that is what a good romance novel is... fantasy!!

One of My All Time Favourite Books
I have read this book many times and love it just as much each time. This is my first Audible Book and I loved it. So good when you're tired.

An old favorite
I read this book in the late 80’s and loved it then. I really enjoyed the audible. The hero and heroine are in my top 20 favorites of all time.

Julie Garwood Classic
I loved hearing the different accents come to life with the archetypal masculine Scot and headstrong female lead that Julie Garwood is known for, but the story fell a little flat for me - most of the action happened right near the end! It was still a good read overall.
